GENERAL INFORMATION

Congress Structure
The Congress will be organized in plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and poster sessions.
The call for symposia/workshops is now closed. The updated Program will be published on the Congress web-site.

Abstracts
Abstracts for accepted symposia/workshops and posters should be submitted through the congress web-site starting on December 1, 2010.

Registration
Online registration will be open on December 1, 2010.

Continuing Medical Education
CME credits will be provided by the American, European and Italian accreditation bodies. Details will appear in the Preliminary Program and on the congress web-site.

Fellowships
The IBRO Congress Committee will organize visits of selected young scientists from countries with limited resources in European laboratories for one month in conjunction with the IBRO 2011 meeting. Please contact Prof. M. Morelli (morelli@unica.it).

Official Language
The official language of the Congress is English.

Exhibition
A commercial and non-commercial exhibit will be organized. Companies and organizations wishing to obtain information should contact the Organizing Secretariat.

Social Program
The Social Program in Florence will be memorable. It will include the Welcome Reception, a Cocktail Reception, a Concert, a Gala Dinner and several Museum Tours.

Accompanying Persons’ Program
Very captivating tours and cultural activities will be organized to entertain accompanying persons. Details will be provided in the Preliminary Program and on the Congress web-site.
